Television review: It would have been nice to spend more time with the fine cast, including Whoopi Goldberg, from Lifetime's 'A Day Late and a Dollar Short.'In this age of try-anything television, it's difficult to understand why Lifetime chose to cram the Terry McMillan novel "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" into a single made-for-TV movie.
